Women Empowerment in the Field of Self-Sufficiency Organization (WEFSO) is a registered national, nonprofit, and non-governmental organization in Afghanistan committed to advancing the rights, protection, and empowerment of women and girls. Founded with the vision of building a society free from gender-based violence and discrimination, WEFSO works to promote self-reliance and resilience among Afghan women through initiatives in entrepreneurship, capacity development, education, health, agriculture, and handicrafts.
WEFSO is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under license number 4985, issued on 8 November 2020.
